These unique and affordable silk scarves come in a wide variety of weaves, textures, colors and designs that make wonderful baby wraps or a stunning evening shawl. All our silk shawls and wraps are hand woven from pure Thai silk so each is a one-of-a-kind work of hand crafted textile art.
Below is a Reference Chart of handwoven Thai silk shawls designed by “Worathep”. Any of our silk shawl patterns can be done in any combination of colors. Every silk shawl wrap is unique although they can be made very similar. Only custom silk shawls and wraps woven-on-demand can look very much like ones displayed here. Shawls in stock are likely to only approximately resemble those on our site..
We've tried to include in the Reference Chart an example of a meditation shawl, a dance shawl, a breastfeeding shawl, an evening shawl, a Christian prayer shawl and a handmade summer silk shawl as well as an assortment of the other silk shawls and wraps we have done in the past to help you see our range and ability. It is not a catalog.
Every handmade designer silk shawl from “Worathep” is unique because it's completely hand woven by a skilled weaver operating a hand loom at his mill. Born into a silk weaving and trading family, he has been immersed in the World of Thai Silk since birth and continues the family tradition.
Although silk is now used to make the Jewish tallit, also know as tallis or talis, our normal “Worathep” shawls do not have the special Tzitzit fringes — the tassels which contain eight strings and five knots on each corner. This type of silk Jewish prayer shawl can be produced on demand in wholesale quantities based on your designs, dimensions and color schemes.

Each “Worathep” silk shawl wrap is pure Thai silk about 72 inches long and 26 inches wide (183 x 66 cm). We produce 200-300 silk shawls and evening wraps each week.
You will need to the colors you prefer to comprise your order for silk shawls and wraps as well as any other details. The order form tells us only the size, model and quantity, not the color of the shawls and wraps.
Our silk shawls and baby wraps are UNtreated. Orders for custom silk scarves can also request treatment for a low additional fee. If you are interested in making your custom silk scarves waterproof using nanotechnolgy, let us know.
These silk shawls and evening wraps are not prints. Our evening shawls are the same on both sides and are usually two-tone fabrics
