"Dear Richard, Better late than never they say. It may be that there are some better photographs in the offing of the 'magic read tunic' with its owner (me) but I thought I had better send these curiously foreshortened pictures taken |
in my living room before I/you totally forgot about it! All the best! P.S.: I see that the credit card option is now available and as soon as I can save enough pennies again I will be sure to visit you again!” -- Alice Choyke, Budapest, Hungary 10, October 2001 |

“Hi Richard, The silk arrived today and is as beautiful as it can be. It has the perfect hue and thickness!
Now that so much went into making this piece and that it turned out so beautiful, I feel an even bigger responsibility to make something really special out of it! Thank you and the weavers. I hope I will have nice pictures to send to you after the wedding!
Best regards,” -- Milia Boroyevich

“Hi, Richard!
Sorry that I didn't reply to the messages. I was helping my daughter move to El Paso. Just as I got home from El Paso the courier arrived with the fabric! The silk is so so so so beautiful that I am speechless. It really is stunning! Thank you and please thank everyone for their work!
“Feel free to use me as a reference. I have only wonderful things to say about every part of the process or ordering from you.
“I will send photos of before, during and after. Would you rather access them from the internet or are old fashioned paper ones better?
“The gifts are really awesome as well. What treasure! Many thanks to your wife! WOW & Thanks!” --Liisa

“Dear Richard,
Thank you for your extensive, interesting, sympathetic, and gracious answer to my message and to the messages you have received from my daughter, Elizabeth Train. It seems the two of you are doing very well in narrowing down choices and making a decision so I will drift further into the wings.
“I just want to add that I visited Bangkok when I was thirteen. It was a wonderful, memorable trip, further brought to light and life by a visit to Jim Thompson's store. He and my stepfather were friends and my stepfather always brought back silk for my mother and me when he traveled to Thailand. My mother had many extraordinary dresses made from different types of Thai silk, a few of which I still have. My mother and stepfather died many years ago, so it is particularly meaningful to me that my daughter has also fallen in love with the silk, and brings back some wonderful memories for me.
Thank you very much,” --
