Creatively customize your color combinations! Often we can weave two-tone Thai silk using any two colors of your choice at no extra cost.

ALL images on the World of Thai Silk web site have been diligently compared to actual fabric under a combination of both fluorescent and incandescent lighting and color corrected using the most advanced computer equipment and software. However, what you see will also be affected by the type of computer monitor you are using, whether it has been properly calibrated, and the ambient light in your room.

A village weavers can weave not less than one yard of silk per day once she is set up and clearly understands a design. We can do a bolt of hand-woven silk up to 70 yards long but 35 yards are best maximum length. Treatment requires an additional day or two. Some weavers can work much faster.

Important Disclaimer: Please be aware that even with a catalog number, much of our silk is done completely by hand and color matching is NOT precise, only approximate. Often a precise hue and shade of color can never be replicated exactly the same again. And in the case of two-tones, it's possible to use dozens of different color combinations to result in the same two-tone effect. We might be able to exactly match a color or it may vary about 10-15%. If you have a question, please feel free to ask. Silk cannot be dyed to a specific color  with the same precision as CMYK offset printing using Pantone color charts. We can best match color by using one of our catalog numbers. See our conditions about this issue.
