World of Thai Silk showcases custom silk scarves by emerging new designer “Worathep”. These unique and affordable silk scarves come in a wide variety of weaves, textures, colors and designs from knotty silk scarves to plain silk scarves. Each scarf is hand woven from pure Thai silk so a unique work of textile art.

Below is a Reference Chart of custom silk scarves designed by “Worathep”. Any silk scarf pattern or design can be done in any combination of colors. Every scarf is unique. Unless you order custom silk scarves woven-on-demand, when you buy silk scarves in stock they will only approximately resemble what we show here. It is a display of women's silk scarves done in the past & demonstration of range and ability — NOT a catalog. Every designer scarf done by the weavers of “Design Worathep” is unique because it's done completely by hand by a skilled weaver operating a hand loom and not cranked out by a mindless machine.

“Design Worathep” womens silk scarves are divided into four basic designs: striped, plain with striped ends, grid pattern and soft & thick. Our current wholesale price is US$12.12 (Baht 400) for each scarf. The minimum order for silk scarves in stock is one dozen. You are welcome to indicate your preferences and even make specific requests based on the Reference Chart. We'll do our best to match what you prefer with the silk scarves available. Large wholesale silk scarves orders can specify the colors and weaves of the custom silk scarves to be made.

You will need to the colors you prefer to comprise your wholesale silk scarves order as well as any other details. The order form tells us only the size, model and quantity, not the color of the silk scarves.

Our silk scarves are UNtreated. Orders for custom silk scarves can also request treatment for a low additional fee. If you are interested in making your custom silk scarves waterproof using nanotechnolgy, let us know.

We provide two and sometimes three photos of each silk scarf to try and capture the tremendous complexity of this Thai silk fabric — both the many nuances of colors, hues & shade as well as the multiple textures that comprise a single silk scarf.

“Worathep” custom silk scarves can be woven to order and take at least one week after receiving your order. Almost all are two-tone, pure Thai silk fabrics. This is usually clearly noticeable in the full-screen images of them on our web site.

These are not prints. Our silk carves are the same on both sides. But many “Worathep” womens silk scarves are two-tone fabrics which will change color depending on the angles of the light source, the scarf & the viewer. We try to show this in our photos.
