Yes, very similar. To give you the most accurate color possible and ensure that
“What You See Is What You Get"
(WYSIWYG), we provide you with three different size images of every
type and color of Thai silk we offer -- a) 100% image of an actual
swatch; b) a full-screen version of the same piece enlarged about
350%; c) and the background on each page which is the actual
silk swatch enlarged about 500-1,000%!
ALL images on the World of Thai Silk website have been diligently compared to the actual cloth under fluorescent and incandescent lighting as well as a combination of the two and color corrected using the most advanced computer equipment and software, including a properly calibrated monitor set to 24-bit true color (Sony Trinitron is the most reliable). No other web site in the world offering homespun, hand woven Thai silk does this. But there are also other factors. |
